We are really not affected by the typhoon, but my neighbors are. Their houses were submerge in water and they went to our house for rescue. We feed them at lunch time and they get back in the afternoon. Other areas of Laguna has been flooded for two weeks and the government said that it will last for one month.

If we reflect of what the environmentalist said about climate change, their predictions are already happening. Sad to say most people are just thinking of living in high places. Though some of my relatives are willing to shell out some money to donate with our planting activities, I think it’s not enough. The government are starting to give its attention to climate change and I’m waiting for them to empower all the people to step up and do their share now! This is an issue that we have to prioritize because if not, it will be a major setback to us as a growing economy.

May God save the Philippines from further destructions such as Ondoy and Pepeng… ‘hope the people will start learning and absorbing the lessons by taking the first easy steps like handling the proper disposal of their garbages and leaving the trees alone!
